PLATTEVILLE, Wis. December 6, 2006 -- A new business based in Platteville is earning its wings this Christmas season by placing “Angels” at the side of older adults who need help to live at home.
Southwest Home Care provides non-medical personal care such as bathing and dressing, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and companionship services. The businesses motto is, “Placing Angels at Your Side.”
The business aims to serve older adults along the U.S. 151 cooridor who prefer to remain living at home, but need help to do so. A free in-home consultation is offered to determine what types of care are needed.
“We provide a helping hand and an extra pair of eyes for families to insure that their loved one is safe,” says owner Craig Kowalski. “And since these services are already taken care of, the time that is spent by families with their loved ones can be quality time.”
